The Bureau of Labor Relations received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 Certification for Quality Management System from the Anglo-Japanese American (AJA) Registrars during the Awarding Ceremony held at the Labor Governance Learning Center (LGLC) DOLE Bldg., in Intramuros, Manila on 28 September 2015.
“The journey doesn’t end at getting the ISO certification. We need to work hard and sustain what has been achieved and improved towards our goal of providing excellent service to the public” Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz said. She also congratulated other DOLE offices that have remarkably completed the ISO certification.
Director Benjo Santos M. Benavidez extended gratitude to the Bureau’s QMS Team who painstakingly worked for this feat and enjoined the staff to further demonstrate commitment and excellence in the delivery of programs and services to clients.
ISO 9001:2008 certification sets out the criteria for quality management system to facilitate the organization’s delivery of services and enhance satisfaction of clients. The registration certificate covers the management of the Bureau’s existing programs and services, disposition of appealed cases filed with the Bureau, and registration of federation/national union/workers association. The certificate is valid until 15 July 2018.
