The National Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (TIPC) approved the issuance of five (5) Department Orders on labor and employment to be issued by Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz during the 1st TIPC Plenary Meeting on February 5, 2016 at the Labor Governance Learning Center, in Intramuros, Manila.
The issuances are as follows: 1) Department Order No. 150-16 or the Revised Guidelines Governing the Employment and Working Conditions of Security Guards and Similar Personnel in the Private Security Industry; 2) Amendments to D.O. 131-13 or the Rules on Labor Laws Compliance System; 3) Guidelines in the Implementation of the Department of Labor and Employment Adjustment Measure Program (DOLE-AMP) for K to 12 Displaced Higher Education Institution Personnel; 4) Amendments to D.O. 4, Series of 1999 or the Guidelines in Assessing and Determining Hazardous Work in the Employment of Persons Below 18 Years of Age; and 5) Department Order No. 151-16 or the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Conciliation-Mediation (SEnA) Law.
Tripartite Executive Committee (TEC) meetings were convened for the discussion of the issuances before elevating the same to the TIPC, the main consultative and advisory body for tripartite advisement and consultation among the labor, employer and government sectors in the formulation, review and implementation of labor, employment and social policies, at the national level.
